THE candidates have now been confirmed for an upcoming by-election in Eastleigh.
Residents will go to the polls next month to elect a new ward councillor to represent Eastleigh Central on Eastleigh Borough Council.
Taking place on February 10, this comes after the resignation of former Liberal Democrat councillor, Jephthe Doguie.
Applications from residents to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on January 25.
The authority is currently made up of 31 Liberal Democrat councillors, two Conservative and five from the Independent Group with one unallocated spot.
More information can be found on the council website.
