Man who assaulted woman fined almost £2,000
A MAN who assaulted a woman has been fined almost £2,000.
Christopher John Buchanan, 50, assaulted a woman in Locks Heath on November 28, 2020.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of one count of assault by beating.
Buchanan, of Holland Park, Salisbury Green, was fined £1,900.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £190 and court costs of £650.
