A MAN has been charged after a car crash involving a bollard last week.
At 9.42pm last Wednesday, January 12, police responded to a report of a crash on Main Road, Dibden.
It is said that a blue Volkswagen Polo had left the road and collided with a bollard.
The driver was uninjured but was taken to Southampton General Hospital as a precaution.
Now a man has been charged in connection with the incident.
Alexander Gary King, 25, of Pinewood Crescent, Hythe, was charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level is above the limit.
He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on February 10.
