AN UNINSURED Southampton driver caught using his phone while on the road has been banned.
Harry Paul Paul Edwards was caught using his mobile phone while driving a Volvo on Portswood Road, Southampton, on October 9, 2020.
The 36-year-old was also found to have no insurance.
He was found guilty via the Single Justice Procedure to one count of using a mobile while driving, and one count of driving without insurance.
In a separate incident, Edwards jumped a red light while driving a Mazda on Thomas Lewis Way in the city on November 7, 2020.
He pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a traffic sign.
Edwards, of Coller Close, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 60 days and fined a total of £800.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £85.
