A FLOCK of naughty sheep received a police escort home after they made a great escape.

This morning, residents of a quiet estate were greeted by a sight 'ewe' wouldn't believe.

Eastleigh Neighbourhood Police Team were called to an estate after a group of sheep broke free from their field.

The naughty flock were found looking a little sheepish on one resident's driveway by the time officers arrived.

The policing team took to social media to share their eventful morning.

A post on the Eastleigh Police Facebook reads: "We started our day with a visit to Fryern Infants & Juniors School to engage with the children while they enjoyed their break.

"Soon after we were called to some naughty sheep who had managed to escape their field, some of which had made themselves at home on a residents driveway.

"Thank you to the resident for allowing us to share the 'barrrrilliant' image."

The sheep were returned home safe and sound - all's wool that ends wool.
