A TEENAGE boy has been injured during an assault outside a fast food restaurant.

The incident took place outside McDonald's at Eastleigh's Swan Centre on Sunday.

Police say that at around 4pm, the 13-year-old boy was provoked by another teenage boy.

But now they say they are turning to the public for help, asking any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: "We are now asking the public if anyone was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or has any video evidence or seen any videos of the assault on social media.
