A POP-up vaccination clinic has opened its doors to the community today.

Residents will be able to visit Romsey Rapids Sports Complex in Southampton Road to have their jab until 6pm tonight.

The clinic, run by Solent NHS Trust, is aiming to target people in the community that may not have been able to make it to a larger site.

Speaking to a Daily Echo reporter at the site, Matron Julie Sizer explained that the team are reaching out to the community to try and get people to come forward for their vaccinations.

"It's really important that everybody gets vaccinated, as many people get vaccinated as possible, so that we can try and get out of this pandemic," she added.
