A MAN'S body has been found at a Southampton allotments, police have said.
The discovery was made on Friday with emergency services being called to the allotments on Springford Road at 8.39pm.
This came after reports of the sudden death of a 67-year-old man from Southampton within the grounds.
The man's next of kin have been informed and are now being supported by specialist officers.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is currently being prepared for the coroner.
One witness told the Echo that firefighters and ambulance crews were also at the scene.
