ONE of the biggest names in rock 'n roll history is heading across the Atlantic to Eastleigh.

Sixties sensation Gary Puckett of Union Gap fame will be headlining The Concorde Club on October 26.

It is major coup for the Stoneham Lane club in the year that it marks its 65th anniversary.

With his unmistakable signature voice Gary had six consecutive gold records and top ten Billboard hits including Young Girl, Woman Woman, Lady Willpower, Over You. This Girl is a Woman Now, Keep the Customer Satisfied, Don't Give In To Him and Home.

He has performed on more than 30 network television shows and prime time specials during his career, plus performances at the White House and in front of British Royalty.

Backing Gary for his Concorde debut will be Gerry's Pacemakers - the legacy of Gerry & The Pacemakers. Gerry Marsden, who had been a regular headliner at the Stoneham Lane club, died last year.

Gary Puckett will be part of a star studded October at The Concorde which includes Marty Wilde and The Wildcats with special guest Kim Wilde (October 16) Merrill Osmond (October 19) and Leo Sayer (October 20)
