A RECORD number of students at a town college have received offers from top universities.
Barton Peveril Sixth Form College in Eastleigh says 25 students have received offers from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge this year.
A total of 19 received offers from Oxford, whilst Cambridge offered out 6 places to Barton Peveril learners.
The offers were for a wide range of courses including Medicine, Mathematics and Computer Science through to Law, Experimental Psychology, and Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic.
Barton Peveril Principal, Jonathan Prest, said: "It has been a delight to watch the number of students who aim for and achieve places at Oxford and Cambridge reach a record number, and many congratulations to the students for their hard work."
