AN INQUEST has been opened after the death of a Hampshire mum on a busy bypass.
Anna-Marie Greenhough, 32, of Flowerdown Close, Calmore, died in hospital following an accident on the Marchwood Bypass.
Police were called to the road just after 4am on Saturday, January 22, when a silver Vauxhall Corsa left the carriageway on the A326 driving towards Hythe.
A hearing held on February 9 herd how the vehicle had collided with a tree.
Coroner Christopher Wilkinson opened the inquest where it was heard Ms Greenhough's death was caused by a traumatic brain injury due to the crash.
Paying tribute to her, her family said: "Anna-Marie was a loving mum of five beautiful children, a devoted daughter and sister."
The full inquest is to be heard on August 5.
