A SOUTHAMPTON teen is due to stand trial accused of attempted murder.
A 16-year-old boy from the city has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of possessing a firearm without a certificate and possessing a shortened gun.
He has also been charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
The allegations relate to an incident that happened in Monks Way, Southampton, on October 11 last year.
A trial date has been set for March 14 this year and is due to be heard at Southampton Crown Court.
The defendant cannot be named for legal reasons.
