A DRIVER has been fined £257 after being caught doing 59mph in a 50 zone.
Kevin Lynch of Leah Gardens, Eastleigh, was caught on the M1 southbound between Junction 18 and 17 in a BMW on May 27 last year.
The 51-year-old admitted speeding and must pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Northampton magistrates imposed three points on his driving licence.
Anyone who tots up 12 penalty points could face losing their driving licence.
