ORGANISERS of Southampton's celebratory platinum jubilee festival have revealed their main stage line-up.
The Big Platinum Festival at Mayflower Park is expected to attract 10,000 people on June 5.
Organised by Unity 101 Community Radio, based in Southampton, the festival will boast a variety of performances, stalls and activities to celebrate the Queen's 70-year reign.
Attendees will be treated to performances from Bollywood dancers, a Queen tribute band and much more.
Project and station manager at Unity 101, Ram Kalyan "Kelly" said: "This is a community festival to bring people together, to put a smile on people's faces and share something that we will remember for years to come.
"The performers on the main stage reflect both the Commonwealth and Britain, and the majority of the performers are local."
Here's what is happening:
Kicking off the festivities will be All Parties and Events who will be bringing the party tunes people know and love, followed by St. Andrews Pipe Band and The Chinese Association of Southampton, who will bring their Chinese Dragons to "bless the Queen's Platinum Jubilee."
The opening ceremony will start at midday and a 7 Decades of Dance performance from Belinda's Dance academy will take place at 12.30pm.
This performance will represent each decade of the Queen's reign.
A taste of Africa will arrive in the city thanks to TUVAA African Dancers and Singers.
A spokesperson from the group said: "Africans are really excited to get involved with this Platinum Jubilee event and we are looking forward to showcasing our culture, music and dance.
"I believe this is one of the best events in Southampton as it is bringing all cultures together to celebrate this magnificent event.
"TUVAA and Africans cannot wait to be a part of it."
Prepare for drama later in the afternoon as the cast from The Reign Musical Drama hit the stage for a powerful performance featuring spoken word, dancing, songs and stories.
Script writer Neil Maddock said: "It is a real privilege to have been invited to be part of this significant and historic event.
"I am looking forward to joining with many other people in Southampton as we celebrate Her Majesty's life and tell her story."
The Military Wives Choir will perform at 3pm and will be followed by The Platinum Band, who has been "working hard" to put together an "amazing performance that showcases some of the best music from the 54 Commonwealth countries."
A Caribbean twist will hot the stage at 5pm, set to create a vibrant and colourful atmosphere full of Caribbean dancers and Calypso songs.
After this, singer Navin Kundra will perform alongside the Bollywood Dance Crew.
Speaking on the event, Navin said: "This is a once in a lifetime event, so it's such an honour to be invited to perform for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Southampton.
"I'm already hard at work with my team preparing to give the performance of a lifetime to mark Her Majesty's 70th year as Queen.
"I will perform songs in English, Hindi and Punjabi with my Bollywood Dance Crew. I look forward to seeing everyone there."
Dust off your moustaches and yellow jackets in preparation for Forever Queen at 6.30pm.
The Queen tribute band will close the party with a 90 minute set of all Queen's greatest hits, from Killer Queen to Bohemian Rhapsody to The Show Must Go On.
The Big Platinum Festival will run from 10am to 9pm and visitors will be treated to a variety of entertainment and activities on the day.
Single tickets start at £10 with family tickets starting at £20.
