A MAN who fell from a block of flats in the city centre has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services were called to Commercial Road, Southampton after a man, aged 20, fell from a building in Blechynden Terrace at 10.45 am today.
An ambulance, two rapid response vehicles and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance critical care car were sent to the scene.

A spokesperson from South Central Ambulance Service said: "The patient, an adult male, had sustained serious injuries and following initial treatment at the scene was taken in a life-threatening condition to the major trauma unit at University Hospital Southampton."
A section of Commercial Road was closed while emergency services responded but it has since reopened.
Hampshire Constabulary added: "Police officers were in the area at the time conducting enquiries and we have therefore made a referral to the IOPC in relation to this incident.
"Enquiries are currently ongoing."
