TWO men have been arrested after another was left with serious injuries in a suspected hit-and-run in Southampton.
The victim, in his 50s, was crossing Civic Centre Road at the junction with Havelock Road yesterday just before 10pm.
A dark coloured BMW hit him, did not stop, and drove off in the direction of Cumberland Place.
The victim, who had been with a group of people, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police arrested a 53-year-old man from Kent on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, and a 50-year-old man from Kent on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both remain in custody at this time while enquiries continue.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Did you see the incident? Do you have dash cam or CCTV footage showing what happened?
