A NEW exhibition is set to launch at God House Tower in Southampton next week.
Composer and sound artist Emily Peasegood will showcase her latest project called 'When I grow up, I want to be a ship' on March 11.
The free exhibition takes the form of a song, played through speakers in the gallery, exploring Southampton's complex relationship with the sea.
Spanning a period of more than 400 years, the song's lyrical content explores the city's ever-changing coastline from the 1600s to the present day and into the future.
Inspired and informed by the local history and local people, the song invites visitors to immerse themselves in the story of the Solent.
The exhibition will run from March until May 8.
The door opens at 6 pm.
