A BROKEN down lorry is causing long delays on a Hampshire dual carriageway.
A vehicle carrying a crane has ground to a halt on the westbound carriageway of the A31 between Cadnam and Ringwood.
The lorry has stopped in the inside lane at Castle Malwood Hill, just west of the point where the M27 becomes the A31.
Traffic is already tailing back to junction 2 of the M27 at Ower.
A recovery vehicle is on its way but police say its is impossible to tell when the road will be back to normal.
Officers are advising drivers to find alternative routes.
