Daily Echo:

The innovative theatre work explores the nature of journeying in ‘Stanley’ the retro 1984 Ford Orion.

RIDE portrays the story of three men, Clive, Hank and Steve, whose separate paths coincide for a short time as they discover a most curious thing; a car that seems to have a life of its own… These four souls, three men and one machine, take a strange, exciting journey together, on which they discover and explore man and machines' reliance on each other, and themselves.

Zoie Golding, Artistic Director at ZoieLogic Dance Theatre, said: “Southampton is our hometown and for the past 20 years we’ve worked with local communities to bring dance into people's lives in a wide range of settings.

"Our ethos has always been about creating access to dance for those who may not have had the chance before.”

RIDE was performed in the city during the RIDE: Covid Response Tour, which included nine shows at five care homes and two retirement communities to almost 300 people in July and August 2020.

There is no need to book. Entry is free and audiences can just turn up. For full details of RIDE and the upcoming Southampton tour, visit zoielogic.co.uk/ride/
