A SOUTHAMPTON store could be transformed into a tattoo removal studio should plans be approved by civic chiefs.
Plans have been submitted to Southampton City Council detailing proposals to turn Manor Utilities, a hardware store on Bridge Road in Woolston, into Zero Ink Tattoo Removal.
The plans have been submitted by Daniel Jackson of Zero Ink, based on Oak Road in Bursledon.
The site is currently used as a hardware store, but if plans are approved Zero Ink could take over the premises.

Zero Ink has branded itself as "Southampton's number one laser tattoo removal specialist", and offers a service to completely remove tattoos or fade them for a cover-up.
Laser tattoo removal works by directing energy at the ink in the tattoo for a fraction of a second in quick pulses.
It targets the pigment on the tattoo ink deep in the dermis layer.
This breaks down the ink into smaller particles which are then evacuated from the body.
The status appeal is unknown as a decision is yet to be made on the plans.
