THE grieving brother of a dad-of-one whose death sparked a murder investigation has paid tribute to his kind-hearted sibling.

Tesco worker Slawomir Turek, 43, died on Wednesday with police called to Mansel Road West in Millbrook at around 6.11am.

Officers arrested a 49-year-old woman from Southampton on suspicion of murder but have released her under investigation. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Speaking to the Daily Echo from Poland, Slawomir's brother Andrzej Turek paid an emotional tribute to his sibling.

He said: "He was a lovely father, son and brother - and especially father to his daughter.

He has asked anyone with information to come forward to police.

As reported, officers are appealing for information after releasing the woman from custody.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: "If you have any information that you think could assist the investigation, please do contact us on 101 and quote 44220124721."
