IT’S the home of all things holistic and healing, a place of zen in the heart of the city.

Zen is a totally unique shop stocking all manner of alternative lifestyle products.

Staff at the shop, in Southampton’s Marlands Shopping Centre, have created a relaxing safe space away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Since opening just six months ago, they have excelled in stocking a range of products not readily available in person elsewhere.

Zen stocks a range of tranquil handmade and natural products for the home, mind, body and soul with a range of crystals, eco friendly products, jewellery, mindful decorations and more.

David Beedle, from Zen, told the Daily Echo: “We specialise in holistic, wellbeing and spiritual products, including one off pieces of crystals, gems and geodes.

Daily Echo:

“Our alternative lifestyle products include everything from incense to meditation aids and singing bowls.

“We have tried to create a relaxing safe space within the hustle and bustle of the city centre focused not on sales but customers and their well-being.

“We’re offering free advice and a relaxing no pressure environment to find your inner spiritual side, a place of zen in the city centre.

“The attention to customers and their spiritual needs is like no other shopping experience you will find.”

Daily Echo:

The shop was launched just as the Omicron strain of Covid-19 started to hit the UK badly in October 2021 and had a bumpy start, but things are now looking up.

David added: “It was a huge risk and footfall until December remained worryingly low throughout the centre.

“I genuinely cannot praise the staff and local community enough though.

“Satin has created something truly special that is hard to explain in words. You just have to visit and immerse yourself in the wonderful atmosphere she has created.”
