A SOUTHAMPTON home could be turned into a house of multiple occupation (HMO) should plans be approved by civic chiefs.

Plans have been submitted to Southampton City Council to turn a house on Milton Road into an HMO.

The plans were submitted Mr C Baena Blanco who wants to turn the home into a place for six people.

There are currently no parking spaces on the property but the plans detail proposals for six new spaces.

The property has been advertised online for sale since June 16, 2021, at a market rent of £1,100 per month. The property has only had four scheduled viewings.

A decision is yet to be made on the application.
