DOZENS of Barton Peveril Sixth Form College students performed their rendition of classic ballet Swan Lake to a sell-out audience of friends, family and local residents.
The event saw 42 ballet dancers from the Dance Company enrichment activity take to the stage in the College’s Rose Theatre.
This is the biggest ballet production in Barton Peveril history.

Vice Principal Rob Temple said: “I was completely unprepared for the sheer scale and ambition of the production. The quality of the performances, the choreography, costumes, lighting and set were remarkable.
“A huge well done to Subject Leader for Dance, Laura Agnew, for organising, inspiring and choreographing it all and enabling the students to enjoy such a rewarding experience during their time at College."
Laura Agnew added: “I am blown away by our students’ spectacular performance of such a classic and challenging ballet. Each and every student went above and beyond."
