The Southampton eateries with the lowest hygiene ratings have been revealed.
According to the Food Standards Agency, 10 businesses in the city are rated one or two.
This means "major" improvements, or "some" improvements are needed.
Restaurants, cafes, takeaways, bars and convenience stores are among the businesses routinely inspected by local authorities.
They are given a score, from zero to five, based on hygiene and safety, structural compliance and confidence in management.
A rating of zero, the lowest score, means "urgent improvement necessary" while a rating of five means hygiene standards are "very good".
The majority of eateries in Southampton have a rating of three and above.
However, just under a dozen received low scores following their latest inspections.
All ratings are correct at the time of writing (Wednesday April 20) and are publicly available on the Food Standars Agency website.
Only establishments inspected in the past three years (between 2019 and 2022 so far) have been included in this list.
This information is published by the Daily Echo in the public interest.
