Here we list five fabulous events on offer in Hampshire that will be sure to keep you and your family entertained.

ABP Southampton Marathon, Sunday

THOUSANDS of runners are set to pound the city's pavements in a bid to raise money and beat their personal best.

Since its inception, the event has raised over £2 million for charities local, national and international

Organisers say that the race brings in over £1.3 million to the Southampton economy each year. 

The race, which includes, a full marathon, a half marathon, a 10km and 5km event, is expected to welcome 10,000 runners.

The ABP Southampton Marathon has become such a celebrated milestone in the city’s calendar. Thousands of well-wishers will also turn out to support the runners.

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mayflower Theatre, Saturday matinee and evening performances

The smash hit London Palladium production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has returned to the stage in Southampton.

The sensational brand-new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic show stars Jason Donovan, Alexandra Burke and Jac Yarrow.

Joseph features songs that have gone on to become pop and musical theatre classics, including Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door To Me, There’s One More Angel In Heaven and Go, Go, Go Joseph.

Simply Italian, Beaulieu, Sunday

All Italian car owners are invited to drive into Beaulieu on Sunday and park up within the museum complex for what promises to be a superb day out for both Italian car owners and enthusiasts.

Everything from Fiats to Ferraris are welcome. The event provides a great opportunity to admire some stunning vehicles and to connect with fellow enthusiasts.

All participants have the opportunity to be chosen as the winner of the People's Choice Award, selected by public vote.

Spring Steam Up, Bursledon Brickworks, Sunday 

Daily Echo:

The Spring Steam Up features traction engines and other vehicles, craft stalls, children’s activities and machinery awoken from its winter slumber at this the seasonal reopening.

There will be train rides, activities for all ages and the coffee shop will be open.

The Spring Steam Up is part of the venue's 125th birthday celebrations.

Family Fun Day, MAST Mayflower Studios, Saturday

Daily Echo:

Join staff at MAST Mayflower Studios for the family fun day on Saturday.

Explore a variety of free activities suitable for all ages, including face painting, crafts, and drama and music workshops.

There's also a book swap, so be sure to bring along a book you have finished, ready to pick up a new one!
