A DRIVER has been reported after being caught behind the wheel of an uninsured car with three children inside.

Officers found the Ford Fiesta had had not been insured for three years.

When they pulled it over near Angel Crescent Car Park in Bitterne, three children were inside the vehicle.

The driver was not arrested but has been reported for summons for driving without insurance.

The car has been seized.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Roads Policing Unit said: “This Ford Fiesta has been seized in Southampton for being driven on a road with no insurance.

“There were also three children in the vehicle when we stopped it. Records show there has been no Insurance on the vehicle since 2019.”
