A KEY Southampton road is to shut for two nights this week.

Motorists are being warned that the Redbridge Flyover will be closed on Thursday and Friday, from 8pm to 6am.

The council says this is for anti-skid surface treatment.

A spokesperson explained: "Overnight works to apply an anti-skid surface treatment will take place on Redbridge flyover for two nights from Thursday April 28.

"During the works, the flyover will be shut from 8pm till 6am and a signed diversion route in place.

"Please plan accordingly for any journeys."
