RESIDENTS in a Southampton street have been warned of a “suspicious incident”.
It was reported that on Foundry Lane, between 3.30pm and 3.40pm on Tuesday afternoon, two men in a white van slowed their vehicle next to a ten year-old-girl who was walking.
There was no physical contact with the girl but she was distressed by the incident.
Police have increased patrols as a result and residents have been urged to report any suspicious activity in the area.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We have since reviewed the CCTV and evidence available to us, and while we recognise this was a concerning incident we do not believe a crime has taken place.
"We have increased patrols in the area to provide reassurance and we ask that members of the public report any suspicious activity in the area via 101 in a non-emergency or 999 in an emergency."
