THE following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

ATANAS IVANOV, 28, of Lodge Road, Southampton. Admitted drug driving. Disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £300. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

KEVIN STEVEN LEE-SHIELD, 41, of Wavell Road, Southampton. Admitted theft. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £40.

ZACHARY LOWE, 34, of Cromwell Road, Southampton. Admitted breaking bail conditions and theft. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £40.

MARTIN ALLEN, 41, of Jessica Crescent, Totton. Convicted of failing to provide a specimen of urine to police when suspected of having committed a driving offence, and failing to surrender to Southampton Magistrates' Court. Handed a 10-week jail term suspended for a year. Banned from driving for 30 months. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85.

PAUL ANTHONY SMITH, 52, of Stafford Road, Southampton. Found guilty of driving without insurance and without a licence. Banned from driving for six months and fined £150.

CAMERON SHALE, 19, of Bitterne Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to obstructing a police constable in the execution of their duty. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £50 compensation. Also ordered to pay court costs of £85.

STEPHEN BOTTING, 39, of Lysander Close, Woodly. Pleaded guilty to attempting to enter a Southampton flat as a trespasser with intent to steal. Ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and £170 court costs.
