A YOUNG boy has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after falling from a roof.

The 11-year-old fell off a building at Fort Fareham Industrial Estate on Thursday.

He suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said South Central Ambulance Service reported concern for the safety of the schoolboy “who had sustained injuries after falling from a roof” shortly after 5.20pm.

They added: “We assisted the ambulance service and the boy was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to serious, but not life threatening, injuries.”
