A LAPDANCING club has won approval to open for two extra hours a day.
Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club in London Road, Southampton, can open at 7pm Sunday to Saturday instead of 9pm. The closing time remains at 5am.
Permission was also granted for new signage and a change to the interior layout.
Approved changes include removing requirements for panic buttons in private booths, and no longer requiring visitors’ ID to be scanned on entry.

Councillors were told a new code of conduct was being brought in, although this was not published.
The changes were approved at a licensing committee earlier this year.
London Road Leisure Limited holds the licence for the basement lapdancing club.
