SPANDAU Ballet star Martin Kemp is going back to the 80s as he takes to the decks at The Brook.

The actor, musician and DJ will be spinning all the best hits from the decade that fashion forgot on Friday May 13.

As the hitmaker behind Gold and True, it’s safe to say Martin is an expert on a trailblazing decade for pop.

He told the Daily Echo: "This show will be a lot of fun. Music is everyone’s life soundtrack and transports us all to the best times of our lives. Expect one of the most euphoric nights you’ve had since the 80s.”

Alongside his famous role as bassist in the iconic new wave outfit Spandau Ballet, Martin is also a recognised TV personality. Most recently seen on Channel 4`s Goggle Box with his Capital Radio DJ son Roman, he also played lead roles in The Krays and Eastenders.
