A MAN has been charged following a spate of shoplifting incidents in Southampton.
Philip Rosher is accused of stealing goods from Tesco Express stores across Southampton.
He is alleged to have stolen stock - mainly meat items and alcohol - worth around £1,438 during separate raids between February and April this year.
Rosher, has been charged with 13 counts of theft from a shop.
They relate to incidents at stores in Witts Hill, Townhill, Cobden Avenue and Fair Oak.
In one raid alone, stock worth £224.70 is said to have been stolen.
The 35-year-old of no fixed address was due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court this morning.
The outcome of his hearing is yet to be published.
