UPDATE: All lanes are now open on the A34 and delays are "minimal".
DELAYS are starting to build near Southampton after a major Hampshire road was closed after a crash.
At around 6.40am this morning, traffic was stopped on the A34 northbound between the M3 and A33 near Winchester.
The closure was caused by a crash which sparked an emergency response.
Though lane two is now open, one lane remains closed for recovery vehicles.
But now delays have started to back up all the way to Eastleigh.
