PATROLS have been increased to reassure a Hampshire community after a man was spotted exposing himself in the street. 

The flasher is said to have been seen along Bournemouth Road and Falklands Road in Chandler's Ford.

Police have received reports throughout the week.

An investigation has been launched and now patrols in the area have been increased.

The incidents took place on Bournemouth Road on May 6 between 11pm and 11.30pm and on May 7 between 10pm and 10.35pm. 

Another incident happened on Thursday evening between 9pm and 10pm.

The man has been described as being white, in their early 20s or 30s, skinny build with black hair.

He has also been seen wearing a beanie hat or balaclava, a dark hoody and dark tracksuit trousers.

A police spokesperson said: "As always, if you have witnessed anything suspicious or have any CCTV or dash-cam footage of these areas at these times, please contact us on 101 quoting reference incident number 44220187944.

"Alternatively, you can report it via the Hampshire Constabulary website - https://orlo.uk/M3Cxj"
