A LIFEBOAT has been called to the aid of a motorboat drifting near Hurst Castle.
The RNLI dispatched a boat from Lymington to aid the 17-foot boat following an engine failure.
Three adults and one child were on board the boat at around 12.20pm on Friday.
It was located just north west of Hurst Castle.

The lifeboat was soon alongside, with crew climbing on board to check over the occupants.
A tow was then set up with the stranded boat being pulled to safety at Keyhaven.
The helm James Douch said: “You must always ensure you have appropriate safety equipment on board and lifejackets.
“Make sure you’re going to sea in a reliable well-maintained vessel and always have a means to call for help should you get into danger.”
