A CHINESE takeaway in Winchester has been handed a food hygiene rating of zero out of five by the Food Standards Agency.
The Golden Phoenix in Wavell Way, Stanmore, was given the lowest hygiene rating possible.
The takeaway was handed the score after the Food Standards Agency told the business major was improvement necessary for its unhygienic food handling.

The cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building were rated as "improvement necessary," and management of food safety was rated as "major improvement necessary".
Peter Chan from the Golden Phoenix said: "We are correcting everything to make sure everything is right.
"We weren't prepared for the inspection, just like sometimes you're not prepared for a visitor at home when it can be messy. We are making sure we put it right."
