A MAN is due to stand trial accused of raping a teenage girl on a Southampton estate.
Ismail Mahmood has denied raping a 17-year-old girl in Millbrook.
He is alleged to have attacked her during an incident in the early hours of Easter Sunday this year.
The 20-year-old of Bishopsfield Road, Fareham, appeared at Southampton Crown Court on Monday morning.
He has been remanded in custody and a trial date has been set for October 3 this year.
Following the attack on April 17, police launched several lines of enquiry as part of their investigations.
Meanwhile, the victim has been supported by specialist officers.
