A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of multiple offences including assaulting a police officer.
He was detained after police were called to Fareham town.
A spokesperson said the man held on suspicion of a public order offence plus criminal damage, racially aggravated assault, and assaulting a police officer.
He added: "The man is now in custody. The officer is okay and remaining on duty.
"Enquires are ongoing."
