A DRINK driver caught more than three times the limit has been banned from the roads.

Jelena Andrusenko was caught drink driving a Mazda on Weston Lane in Southampton on April 1.

The 39-year-old was found to have 119 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates Court, she admitted one charge of drink driving.

Andrusenko of Poulner Close, Southampton, was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid working within the next 12 months and was disqualified from driving for 28 months.

She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
