A LIVELY magic show is set to bring thrills, stunts and illusions to Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre this autumn.
X-TREME MAGIC brought to the stage by Shone Productions, is set to deliver “a non-stop adrenaline rush” for audiences on October 18.
Master illusionist Richard Cadell will lead the spectacle, along with a whole cast of fire artists, dancers and supporting magicians.
The likes of Britain’s Got Talent contestant Elizabeth Best and fellow illusionist Craig Christian will perform “death-defying” stunts and “daredevil escapology” on the night.
The show was created in Las Vegas, but producer James Shone is excited to bring the illusions across the pond to the UK.

Shone Productions has hinted at some of the stunts that will come to Mayflower Theatre in October.
A statement said: “Imagine making a motorcycle appear from nowhere, playing Russian Roulette with sticks of dynamite, or trying to escape from a straitjacket whilst hung from a burning rope… the stars of X-TREME MAGIC do all this and more.”
Other shows created by the production company include Santa Claus: The Musical and a Sooty, Sweep & Soo version of The Wizard of Oz.
The statement added: Shone Productions are bringing a spectacular magic show to the Mayflower Theatre this autumn.
"This is no old-fashioned rabbit-out-of-hat magic, this show is a spectacle, designed to thrill with death-defying edge-of-your-seat stunts, grand stage illusions, daredevil escapology, and mind-blowing magic all within a fast-paced performance."
The company is also touring with their Circus Spectacular in February 2023.
Tickets are now on sale for X-TREME MAGIC on October 18 at mayflower.org.uk from £24.50.
Doors open at 7.30pm on the night.
