A LORRY driver has been fined £100 after admitting careless driving.

Lasha Kalaljishvili, 26, of Vale Drive, Southampton, was driving a lorry in Bromley Road, in the London borough of Bromley, on November 12 last year.

He pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.

Magistrates imposed a £100 fine, £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Magistrates imposed three points on his driving licence.

He also admitted failing to comply with a height limit sign in Shortlands Road on the same day.

He received no separate penalty for this.
