A Southampton road has been partly closed due to a gas leak.

SGN engineers are working to locate the leak on St Denys Road.

The eastbound lane between Belmont Road and Thomas Lewis Way has been closed as a result.

Diversions are in place via Portswood Road and Thomas Lewis Way.

Drivers are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance as delays are anticipated in the area.

The temporary one-way is expected to be in place until Friday.
