A FIRST birthday bash was held to celebrate one year of MAST Mayflower Studios in Guildhall Square.
Guests sipped prosecco, tasted candy floss and enjoyed a great show as part of the celebrations.
Talented youngsters took to the stage to perform songs from the 2021 Christmas production Peter Pan: An Awfully Big Musical Adventure, an extract from Grimm Tales Hansel & Gretel and a sneak preview into this year’s Christmas Youth Production of Alice; A Musical Adventure in Wonderland.

Michael Ockwell, Chief Executive of MAST Mayflower Studios and Mayflower Theatre, said: "It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the extraordinary work that Sara (Scott, Executive Director) and her team have put into the first year at MAST. It was a joy to celebrate with all our partners and this is the start of a very exciting journey, for MAST and all its partner organisations, as there is such promise in our collaborations.”
MAST Mayflower Studios opened to the public, with socially distanced seating, at the end of May 2022 with Rambert2.
