FLORAL tributes have been left at the scene where a driver died after being involved in a crash with a lorry.

BMW driver Harrison Cross, 27, died last Tuesday in Station Hill, Eastleigh, with tributes and bouquets of flowers now on the street.

Harry was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but sadly died from his injuries.

Harry's family have since paid tribute to him, saying they are "deeply heartbroken by the sudden loss". 

They added: "He was the kindest son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him. 

"Taken far too young and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

"We will move forward with sadness of the memories we will not get to make, but cherish and smile looking back at the ones we did."

A number of floral tributes line Station Hill.  

One tribute said: “RIP Harry. Taken far too young. Will miss our chats when I came round to do haircuts.

“You will be greatly missed. Goodbye Harry, until we meet again.”

Another, attached to a bouquet of flowers, says: “Gone too soon. RIP mate.”

Police are now calling for any witnesses to come forward.

Sergeant Jon White, said: “We are currently carrying out our initial enquires to ascertain the exact circumstances which led to the tragic loss of a man’s life.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have dash-cam footage.

"Likewise, we would like to hear from any local businesses who may have relevant CCTV footage in the moments leading up to the incident.

“If you have any information regarding this incident, no matter how small or insignificant you believe it to be, please contact us as soon as possible as it could help aid our investigation.”
