A SOUTHAMPTON man has been hauled before court following a string of assaults.

Luke Neville appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court following a number of assaults in the city on March 18.

The 37-year-old assaulted two men and two women, and also damaged a door belonging to Southampton City Council during the rampage.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he admitted two charges of assault by beating, two charges of common assault, and one charge of criminal damage.

Neville, of Green Lane, Millbrook, was released on unconditional bail until the next hearing on July 6 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
