Southampton Airport has issued a warning to people travelling to and from the airport this week.

A significant part of the network will be closed entirely. Some trains will be running but less frequently.

The railway company recommends customers only travel by train if "absolutely necessary" between Tuesday and Sunday this week.

Disruption is also expected on Wednesday (June 22), Friday (June 24), and Sunday (June 26), when the network will not be operational before 7.30am, and a Sunday level of service will run in the day.
