Police were called to the incident at around midday to help medics get access to treat the patient.

IT was then another driver decided to block in the emergency services teams, police said.

Posting on Totton police's Facebook page, an officer said: "Police were called to a road in Totton where an ambulance was dealing with an ill person.

"During these times please remain patient!"
