A MAN is to appear in court after a robbery outside a casino.
Takudzwa Mukono, 24, of Vale Grove in Gosport, has been charged with one count of attempted robbery and one count of assaulting an emergency worker by beating.
It comes after an incident on January 22 in which it’s alleged Mukono grabbed a man in Golden Touch Casino on Gosport High Street and demanded cash, before allegedly assaulting a police officer.
He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 29 June.
